Buzi

Recently relocated to Detroit, Buzi is a trans masc, genderqueer performer who is newer on to the scene, but certainly no stranger to capturing a crowd. Buzi, which means "Fag" in Hungarian seemingly defies the laws of physics with his long limbs and theatrical movements that enrapture you right from the start.

 

Buzi uses imaginative costuming consisting of up-cycled garments and recycled materials that transform into a maximalist fantasy. Combining such otherworldly artistry with his bold movement style make his performances in a league of their own, unlike any other that Detroit has to offer. His artistry is inspired by bugs, plants, horror, puppetry, and kitschy items you find in your household "junk" drawer.
